Submission Types

The literary magazine accepts a wide range of creative work, including poetry, short stories, essays, opinion pieces, photography, visual art, mixed media, and other forms of creative expression.

General Requirements

All projects should relate to the quarterly theme. Submissions may interpret the theme broadly and explore ideas, experiences, or issues connected to its central topic.

Do not include personal details (full name, location, school name, or phone number) in your artwork or writing.

Length: 

All writing projects should have a maximum of 7 pages. All art projects should have a maximum of 5 pieces. 

Formatting Guidelines

Use a readable font (e.g., Times New Roman or Arial, size 12) and double-spacing.

Include section headings if needed (e.g., Introduction, Methods, Discussion, Conclusion).

All submission files must be submitted in PDF format and be named below:

fullname_projecttitle

Review Process

All submissions are reviewed by our editorial team for originality, adherence to content guidelines, and compliance with submission requirements. If a submission does not adhere to our guidelines, it may be returned to the contributor for revision or clarification before it can be considered for publication.

Ethical Standards

We expect all submissions to reflect original work from the creators. Projects found to include plagiarism or AI-generated writing will not be considered.

Though The 3rd Space Project encourages unlimited creativity, submissions containing gratuitous violence, hate speech, harassment, explicit sexual content, or other material that may endanger or demean individuals or communities may be deemed ineligible at the organizers’ discretion.
